I am inspired by the subtlety of light and shadow, the emotion of a facial expression, the power of a breaking wave felt from beneath the surface, and the aroma of baking bread.

I have worked as a Chief Lighting Technician in television and movies for almost 40 years and I believe that this experience has provided me with an invaluable sensitivity to the contribution of lighting to the mood of a photographic image.
